New York Jets (+3) vs. Minnesota Vikings
Typically you want to fade the public when they pile onto a team with over 70 percent of the bets, but this week we have a few exceptions. The first of which comes in with the Jets, who are the public’s favorite team of the week as three-point home underdogs to the Vikings. This is an interesting matchup that sees a Vikings offense who has struggled to run the ball all year long, going up against a Jets defense that sells out to stop the run. The Vikings have also been poor as road favorites going back to last year, going 3-4 against the spread.
Another team that is fairly popular with the public that you should consider betting is the 49ers, who come into their matchup with the 6-0 Rams as massive 9.5-point home underdogs. This number is just pure disrespect from the books toward the Niners, who looked solid in a road loss to the Packers on Monday night. While San Francisco has been one of the most snakebit teams in the league with regards to injuries, the Rams are dealing with plenty of injury concerns of their own on the defensive side of the ball and will also be without key slot WR Cooper Kupp, who is dealing with a knee injury.
Atlanta Falcons (-5.5) vs. New York Giants
The largest line movement of the week belong to the Falcons, who have seen their line rise a full two points from its -3.5 open. Both teams in this matchup are difficult to back given how bad the Falcons defense and the Giants offense have been this season. However, the BetQL models are looking to ride with the Falcons in his spot. The Giants are only 2-4 ATS as underdogs this season, while the Falcons have been more friendly to betters as favorites, opening the season 2-2 ATS.
Los Angeles Chargers (-6.5) vs. Tennessee Titans
The top trending bet of the week belongs to the Chargers, as they travel across the globe to face the Titans in London. The Charges enter the game as large 6.5-point favorites, but that number seems low given just how bad the Titans have been on offense this season. The Titans have been one of the best teams in the league to bet over the first six weeks, going 4-2 ATS overall and 3-1 ATS as an underdog. Also consider taking the UNDER of 45 points in this game,
