The last 24 hours have been a whirlwind for Laremy Tunsil: someone hacked his Twitter account just minutes before the start of the NFL Draft, he slid for a bit, was drafted, had his Instagram account hacked and admitted to taking money from Ole Miss coaches.

Following all of this drama, reporters were champing at the bit to talk to him Friday, but he curiously was not there. Miami brass began the press conference by saying Tunsil won't be speaking because he had an allergic reaction.

The excuse sure seemed to be convenient, and many people were skeptical of the Dolphins' story. But the team remained adamant that they weren't making it up.

“We’re trying to figure out what it is,” Mike Tannenbaum, the head of the team’s football operations, told reporters.

Tannenbaum added Tunsil was in the office for a couple of hours before he had the reaction. During the press conference, he was with doctors

trying to determine the cause of the problem. Tannenbaum doesn't expect the situation to be too severe, as he said Tunsil should attend next week’s rookie minicamp.

The rest of the press conference was pretty tame as the front office members didn't have much to say. After all, the press conference was intended for Tunsil to speak. Tannenbaum just echoed the thoughts that Miami is happy with the selection.

“We looked at the entire body of work, the person going all the way back to high school,” Tannenbaum said. “We were comfortable making this decision.”
