Baseball Nationals pitcher Max Scherzer doesn't want to see another injury like Adam Wainwright's happen again, which is why he is "not opposed" to having a designated hitter in both leagues.Scherzer has seen both sides of the debate as he played in the DH-using American League with Detroit. He's now batting with the Nationals, and has previous experience at the plate with his first big-league two seasons in Arizona. He realizes watching pitchers at the plate may not be best for the league. SPECTOR: DH is coming to National League, like it or not"If you look at it from the macro side, who'd people rather see hit — Big Papi or me?" Scherzer said, via CBS Sports. "Who would people rather see, a real hitter hitting home runs or a pitcher swinging a wet newspaper? Both leagues need to be on the same set of rules." His comments come after Wainwright and Scherzer were injured while at bat. Wainwright is likely done for the year while Scherzer is dealing with a sprained thumb. His injury isn't considered to be too serious."Those kids, they want to see V-Mart [Victor Martinez] hit," Scherzer said, pointing out a group of children on the field at Marlins Park. "Those kids don't want to see me hit. No one wants to see a pitcher hit. No one pays money for that."He's probably right. Scherzer is 1 for 9 with three strikeouts this season.Scherzer added he believes will make changes at some point."If you loo
