Kings play-by-play TV announcer and radio host Grant Napear has been placed on administrative leave by KHTK, according to The Sacramento Bee's Jason Anderson.
The Sacramento radio station is reportedly investigating Napear's response on Twitter to former Kings center DeMarcus Cousins, who asked Napear for his thoughts on the Black Lives Matter movement amid the protests taking place across the country following the death of George Floyd. Napear told Cousins that "All Lives Matter," sharing the slogan often used to deflect from the issues BLM is seeking to address, including racial injustice and police brutality.
Hey!!!! How are you? Thought you forgot about me. Haven't heard from you in years. ALL LIVES MATTER...EVERY SINGLE ONE!!! https://t.co/DfzKl3w0jm

Cousins wasn't surprised by the tweet, and former Kings players Chris Webber and Matt Barnes jumped in to voice their opinions of Napear as well.
"Would expect nothing less from a closet racists [sic]," Barnes said.
Lol as expected.
